"Project Open Zoo" is a group project about creating an educational video game that deals with the topic zoo.

We distanced ourselves from the original idea of a zoo, the concept of the game is now to build and balance an ecosystem.

Our first approach is a marine ecosystem, hopefully many other settings will follow.

I did some concept paintings and drawings for the underwater world so far, while concentrating on sea turtles.

For a short teaser-trailer, I merged one of my concept paintings and my 3D sea turtle into one animation.
